stella & dot doughnut brunch

Two weeks ago now I hosted my first ever Stella & Dot trunk show. I had heard about the Stella & Dot brand for a while now but had yet to attend or host my own party. When Jennifer reached out to me about hosting my own, I took one look at their jewelry and was sold. I can not remember the last time I hosted any kind of party to earn hostess rewards. Actually other than Pampered Chef ones with my mother when I was younger I don't think I have ever hosted a hostess rewards type party. Needless to say I was very excited.

I knew right off the bat that I wanted to host a brunch because I just adore mimosas, and well... yep that is pretty much the only reason I decided on brunch. From there I decided to go with a "decorate your own doughnut bar". 

I picked up a little Bella mini-doughnut maker for $11 at Macy's and made three different types of doughnuts (chocolate, strawberry-banana, and plain).

I went with three frostings; chocolate, cinnamon-bun, and strawberry.

And of course toppings; cinnamon-sugar, sprinkles, strawberry pie filling, reese's peanut butter chips, and powdered sugar in a shaker.

I also served lemon bars and fresh fruit.

And last but most definitely not least mimosas and iced coffee's.

The paper straws and chevron to-go bags are from Shoppe 3130.

Jennifer (my stylist) set up in the dining room and girls could just peruse the jewelry when they felt so compelled to. She did a little presentation but kept it short and sweet, and all my lovelies ladies just chatted, drank, and ate away. I had a total blast at the party and the jewelry was such a huge hit! I'm pretty sure every single girl walked away with at least one thing.
