little loves

I am honestly quite a bore I tell you. I really kept it low key this week with work, blogging, and catching up on some odds and ends. Me and a few other blogger friends are working on an event for all of you lovelies (yes YOU) and it's nice to see the pieces start to fall into place. I of course squeezed in a little shopping, and have decided that in between fashion haul vlogs (which will be filmed whenever I have a good amount to show) I will post my purchases on my Facebook page, and possibly Twitter. I'm a great deal less active on Twitter, so Facebook is a more reliable source. Starting Monday I will post pictures of my newest purchases and where you can get them, so if you're interested follow along!

The adorable cupcake above is actually from last week and I forgot to include it!
It was delicious Chai cupcake from a little place called Blake's Cafe + Cupcakery.

Sunday night is always date night and it's a little tradition I adore. Sometimes it's pj's and Chipotle in,
and sometimes it's polka dats, red lips, and dinner out. This was one of those nights.

Date nights also always consist of dessert. One of my favorite treats (that I only like when I get to make myself) is a classic Root Beer Float. It was wonderful, except for the fact that we accidentally got DIET, bleh! Either way it was quite tasty!

This pin started circling Pinterest this week and I can not find it's original source. Though all the instructions are right below the pin, so that is handy. These are breakfast cookies! And what makes them even better than cookies for breakfast (coooo-kie crisp, flashback) is that there is no flour, sugar, or dairy added! Just a bunch of awesome ingredients like oats, banana, raisins, and TA-DA! I am making these this week, and planning to freeze a bunch too!

Got my March Julep maven box this week too! I feel "eh" about the colors but really excited about the Argan oil that was in it. Post to follow with more details!

And last but not least, is a big Happy Birthday to one of my four best friends, Lindsay! Sadly she lives in NY and I didn't have the opportunity to go celebrate with her but I have been sending her my wishes all weekend! Love you Linds!

  7. Oh, oh! Thank you so much for sharing the breakfast cookie recipe! This is PERFECT because we're a vegan family and it's hard to find breakfasts that are interesting for the kiddos and easy to transport to work and church and play. You're the best!
Also, the red lips and polka dots totally suits you and looks terrifically romantic.
